Information we collect

When you order, contact us, join a promotion, or request delivery, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order details, messages, favorite-candy preferences, and optional birthday month and day. A birth year is not required for the birthday reward. Stripe processes payment-card information; Jesse’s Candy does not receive your full card number.

How we use it

We use information to process and deliver orders, arrange pickup, provide support, administer membership and birthday rewards, select a surprise gift from stated candy preferences, prevent fraud, keep required business records, and send messages you requested. We do not sell personal information.

Who receives it

Information may be handled by service providers needed to run the store, including Stripe for payments and the website’s hosting and database providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect customers and the business.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. No online system is completely risk-free, but we use reasonable safeguards and limit access.

Your choices

You may ask what information we hold about you or request a correction or deletion, subject to records we must retain. Email Jay at 916Enterprises@gmail.com. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response. For a major issue you can text the owner, Jesse, on (530) 312-6214, at any time. Membership codes and the one follow-up reminder are sent by email; Jesse’s Candy does not send automated marketing SMS.

Membership emails

Free membership includes email updates about new candy, specials and upcoming pop-ups. Every promotional email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops promotional emails; it does not cancel your membership, your JM member code or your 10% member discount on eligible online orders. Jesse’s Candy does not send automated marketing SMS. When you join, we store where you signed up (for example, the website sign-up form) and the date and time you joined, as the record of your consent to membership emails.

Children

The website is intended for purchases made by adults. Children should use it only with a parent or guardian.
